I had this done by Silje of Scapegoat Tattoo in Portland, OR last summer. It’s of a Franz Marc painting, which I thought was appropriate as it combines my love of art with my love of horses and I’d just moved from Oregon to Minnesota for an internship on a horse breeding farm. This is my first tattoo and I definitely plan on returning to Scapegoat for more!

I’m not too good with words, but I’m going to write. I’ve done a lot of nothing for quite some time and I’m just about done with that. My old method of getting things started was to psych myself up enough to where I overestimated my abilities. Failure was mostly inevitable with that technique. I’m not going to do that. It takes little steps and a direction.

these are words I had to manually enter into Word as actual words. this is only a very small sampling from a single 100 level biology class.
But if you want to go with your logic life on earth does not exist because without actin cytoskeletal elements cannot be made and cells would collapse in on themselves. Actin is also necessary for other reasons, microtubules made of actin are used to corral chromosomes during eukaryotic cell division, if they were not present the chromosomes would have no way to get to the opposite sides of the cell, and then the daughter cells would have the wrong numbers of chromosomes and the lineage would either end or be all sorts of fucked up.

I am so proud of this woman for being so creative and fun with her new raw foods diet. She’s doing an excellent job at it! Plus! AH SAID PLUS! She made this deliciously healthy mango salsa at her desk. Srsly. There’s a blender on her desk.
